Phoenix Massage & Bodywork FAQ
Here we have done our best to compile a list of the questions most commonly asked to our therapists.  If your question is not listed below, then please call or email us so that we can quickly answer your quandary.

A: Of course! Our massage therapists are more than happy to answer any questions you might have

A: The person who books your services can help you decide on the type of treatments that are appropriate for you.

A: Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your first appointment to allow time for the intake process and preparation for your session. After your initial appointment please arrive about 15 minutes before your appointment.

A: This depends entirely on what sort of treatment you are receiving. If you are uncomfortable with getting undressed we offer several treatments that don’t require you to disrobe, just ask your therapist for details. Of course if the service you are getting requires that you undress, we never ask you to undress beyond your personal comfort level. Louisiana law requires that a client’s private areas are covered at all times. The massage rooms have dressing areas to protect your modesty and of course during your treatment you will be covered with a sheet and the therapist will only undrape the area being worked on at that time, then re-drape the area when they are finished.

A: We ask that you please remove all jewelry before your session so that your massage or spa treatment isn’t hindered in any way. We will provide a safe place within the massage room to place your jewelry.

Q: Should I tell my therapist if I’m unhappy with my massage or spa treatment?

A: Please, let your therapist know what you are thinking. For instance if the pressure is too light or heavy during a massage, mention it. We want to do everything in our power to make your experience a great one, so please don’t be afraid to make suggestions.

Q: Can I talk during my session?

A: Our massage therapists will take their cue from you during your session. If you would like to talk with your therapist then please feel free to do so, if you prefer not to talk your therapist will remain quiet through the session.
